Fun week- cousin shadowing!

So this week has been good- definitely eventful and interesting. On Monday we had FHE with President Clark which was cool. Wednesday I went over to my friend Nate's apartment and watched "Dante's Peak" for extra credit, a two hour movie. He is a cute guy and I love talking with him. We popped popcorn and I brought some fudge and cookies Mary and Danae made. Well, that was fun and on Thursday I went to a meeting for the talent show people which was cool. I was pretty pumped. On of my roommates (Lyndee) was sent home on that day as well for certain reasons. On Thursday night grandma Bohn and my cousin Lexi took me out to dinner at Sammy's which was great. I missed seeing relatives so I enjoyed that. Right after that my friend had invited us to go to Maleficent with them so we said goodbye to grandma and saw the movie. I thought it was pretty good, though there needed to be more of a love story.
            After that, we jumped in the guys truck and went to get snow cones at a cool place called snoasis and then played Battle of the Sexes at an apartment. It ended up being a fun night. The next day we woke up early and went for a swim at the heart pool. My first class was American Foundations which was a tiny bit boring, but I think Alexis liked the experience. After class we did scripture study in the gardens. Next I worked for 2.5 hrs while Alexis walked around campus and hung out. We went to sectionals next, where I practice with the other first violins. Then, Natural disasters class where we talked all about Pompeii. It was fascinating! I like that teacher so I hoped Alexis enjoyed that. Next I went to the library to study. I warned Alexis that on the 3rd floor you usually end up socializing and never get work done, whereas the 2nd floor is 100 percent silent. We went to the 3rd floor and lo and behold my friend from Country dancing, Eric was there and we talked to him a while. He insisted on teaching Alexis how to dance since we were going to dancing that night.
          Soooo, we went into a room and he taught her a ton since he is so good at dancing. I got a vid of some of it below. Eric then went with Alexis to get us pizza while I joined Nate in an intense study session for the Natural Disasters test. We studied hard and I felt so ready, I ended up getting an 87 :/ and Nate got a 73. Kinda laaame. I got home and we went Latin dancing and I tried to stay off of my foot as much as possible. We met a cool guy there named Shane. When we finished, we went to a dance party that was lame, so we went to the gardens and found a group to play zombie tag with! Alexis ended up hiding in a tree and got all wet;) We then walked to Sammy's to get more shakes. Shane eventually met us there and we hung out til 1 am. Party all the way!!!:)
           Saturday we went to the temple that morning, but on the way there Shane texted me and told me that Alexis could join a bunch of girls on a team he coached to play a game. She did that while I went to the temple. We went to lift practice after that and all of my Country dancing guy friends got to through Alexis around. I got some good vids and pics of the whole thing! I miss being able to do lifts. After that, Shane took us to a water park where we played on the kids area. It was real fun. THEEEEEN, I went to a practice for the talent show. It ended up going well! I was super excited....I love performing that song! My stand partner came and grandma, Lexi and Shane did as well! After the performance, grandma took us out for chocolate shake things. It was yummy:) Then we departed and Shane drove me home. What a fun weekend!
           That night all my roommates watched "Sinister" while I watched Frozen in the other room. They couldn't sleep and stayed up like the whole night. I played "Come thou fount" in church today. I did visiting teaching with Mary which went good. Theeeeen, I gave Marli a violin lesson and she gave me a Spanish lesson. My homework this week is to say all of my personal prayers in Spanish from now on. So, I will do my best. Then I went to aptmt 209 and we hung out, ate food, played games. My FHE brothers then came over to our aptmt for dinner which Mary made! It was really nice to visit with them. That night two of the girls from 209 played water balloon dare with me:) We throw the water balloons at each other and whoever the ballon breaks on has to be dared to do something like run screaming something down the side walk or sing a song. Well, Madison and I ended up doing a ton of things because the balloon kept breaking on us. Sooo, the last dare we did on Kira---she had to go into an apartment where there are people who I know(but who don't know Madison and Kira) and sit on their floor and say "Como estas" (I was just there an hour before learning Spanish). It was soooo funny! So yeah! Crazy weekend! I'll post the pics in my next post!:)
